Antônio José de Villas Boas purchased Sítio Dois Irmãos in 2000. Originally a tomato farmer, Antônio began by tending the coffee trees already on the farm while continuing to grow tomatoes.
At first, everything was done manually by the family. As Antonio kept planting coffee, the increase in yield led him to focus more on quality processing. In 2004, they built their first patio to ensure optimal drying conditions.
By 2011, their harvest was large enough to allow further investment in the coffee farm, and they planted even more coffee trees. In 2013, they began working with COCARIVE and discovered that their coffees had the potential to become exceptional. The following year, they adjusted their management strategy to focus on high-quality processing.
Now run by Antônio’s two children, Allan and Allex, Sítio Dois Irmãos produces high-quality natural coffees known for their sweet and fruity profile. This coffee is creamy and nuanced, with notes of stone fruit and florals.
